Child Account Information (Provided by Parent):

Child's first name only
Age
Password for kid's portal (encrypted)
Profile picture (optional, uploaded by parent)

Usage Information:

Jobs created and completed
Products added and purchased
Balance adjustments
Activity timestamps

    Important: We do NOT collect:
    Children's email addresses
Children's phone numbers
Children's location data
Social security numbers
Payment information (no real money transactions)

  

2. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Hedgey Fund is designed for parents to teach children about money management. We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

How Children Use the Service:

Parents create and control all child accounts
Children log in with name + password only
Children can view jobs, complete jobs, and browse products
Children CANNOT communicate with other users
Children CANNOT access external websites from the app
Children CANNOT provide their own personal information

Parental Consent:

Parents must create accounts before adding children
Parents provide all child information
Parents control all child account settings
Parents can view all child activity
Parents can delete child accounts anytime

Children's Data Protection:

Children's names are never shared publicly
No advertising or tracking for children
No data sharing with third parties
All passwords are encrypted
Secure database storage

Parent Rights:

As a parent, you have the right to:

Review your child's information anytime
Delete your child's information
Refuse further data collection
Request we stop using your child's information

3. How We Use Your Information

Provide the Hedgey Fund service
Maintain your account
Track virtual currency and transactions

Secure Database: Hosted on Supabase with encryption at rest
HTTPS: All data transmitted over secure connections
Access Control: Limited employee access to data
Regular Backups: Daily automated backups

    Note: While we use industry-standard security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Active Accounts: We keep your data while your account is active
Deleted Accounts: Data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
Backups: Deleted data may persist in backups for up to 30 days

You have the right to:

Access: View all your data anytime in your account
Correction: Update your information anytime
Deletion: Delete your account and all data
Export: Request a copy of your data
Restriction: Ask us to stop using your data

Supabase: Database hosting (secure, SOC 2 compliant)
DreamHost: Website hosting

We do NOT share your data with marketing, advertising, or analytics companies.

9. International Users

Hedgey Fund is operated in the United States. If you are accessing from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and stored in the US. By using our service, you consent to this transfer.
